WATERLOO REGION HOUSING DEVELOPMENT 82 WILSON AVE
Waterloo Region Housing is constructing a new 6 storey multi-unit residential building with 48 units. The new building will also have amenity spaces, a commercial kitchen, office space, boardroom, and administrative space. This project is targeting standard LEED Silver.

500 MACNAB – KEN SOBLE TOWER PASSIVE HOUSE PROJECT
Built in 1967, the Ken Soble Tower is the oldest high-rise multi-residential building in CityHousing Hamilton’s portfolio. This post-war apartment tower will undergo significant improvements including ultra-low energy retrofits reducing the greenhouse gas emissions by 94%. The building contains 146 modern units for senior housing.

JOHN NOBLE APARTMENTS
John Noble Apartments is a high density, mixed income, non-smoking and self-sustaining building with 57 units for senior living. The building has several LEED features including the first city-owned building using geo-thermal heating and cooling systems that lower energy costs.

JACK MACDONALD APARTMENTS
New construction of a 8 storey apartment building containing 60 units comprising a mix of 1-3 bedroom apartments. The project was designed to the Passive House standard making the building energy efficient.

5 MARLENE AVE., SUPPORTIVE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT
This 2 storey, 30 unit affordable housing building was built with energy efficiency in mind. Some passive house principles were used including extremely airtight building envelope to aid in keeping heating and cooling costs down.

LONDON MIDDLESEX COMMUNITY HOUSING SOUTHDALE
The project includes demolition of 50 existing townhouses, new construction of two 4 storey apartment buildings containing 35 units (1-4 bedrooms) and exterior renovation to the existing 111 townhouses. Built using LEED principles to include reduced energy, low water consumption and other sustainable features.
